Paris Fonds Vert, a fund managed by Demeter, is selling its stake in Optimum Automotive following the sale of the company to Shiftmove.

Optimum Automotive is a digital fleet management platform operating in France, Portugal, Spain, and Africa. Its software solution enables customers to offer car-pooling and car-sharing services and to create eco-driving training programmes that generate significant reductions in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The company has 107 employees, 7,500 customers, 200,000 vehicles under management and a turnover of just under €20m.

The support provided by Demeter and four other investment funds managed by Amundi, A+Finance, Smalt Capital, and BP Méditerranée over a period of just under 5 years will have enabled the company’s CEO and his teams to more than double the size of the company.   The transaction enables Paris Fonds Vert and all Optimum Automotive shareholders to sell their entire stake.

Following the acquisition of Optimum Automotive, Shiftmove, a German-Swiss automotive fleet management software platform owned by a fund managed by the US asset management company Battery, employs more than 350 people and supports more than 18,000 corporate customers managing over 550,000 vehicles.
